Sunset Bird

Another quick post to get a card submitted in time. This card was made with inspiration from three different challenges.  The first bit of inspiration came from the "Just Us Girls" Challenge blog and the challenge is birds.  That's perfect because I just received a new stamp set from Stampin' Up called Best Birds.  The next challenge was found at Stamp, Ink, Paper and the inspiration was sunsets.  Finally, the perfect sketch was found at Pals Paper Arts.  I love getting ideas on these challenge sites because I would have never come up with most of my cards on my own!  Hope you like it.  This will be one of the cards offered at my "card buffet" class this weekend.

STAMPS: Best Birds, A Dozen Thoughts
PAPER: Soft Sky, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
INK: StazOn, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede
OTHER: Birds and Blooms Thinlits, 2" circle mask, sponges

  1. Wow Lisa, both of these cards are just gorgeous examples of sunsets! Those bird stamps and dies are on my "NEED" list! Thanks so much for joining us at Stamp, Ink, Paper for our sunset theme challenge this week!
