Clean and Simple Fall

I have a super quick, clean and simple, fall card for you. This card was inspired by the sketch challenge at Try Stampin' On Tuesday found HERE. I'm also submitting this card for the clean and simple taste of fall challenge at The Paper Players found HERE.  And finally, I'm trying out another challenge site new to me.  It is Retro Rubber Challenge Blog (found HERE) and their requirement is to use at least one stamp that is older than a year. I'm using the Sheltering Tree stamp set from 2015 and the Lots of Thanks stamp set from 2013-14 catalog.

Happy Colors for a Happy Couple

Do people still write thank you notes?   I hope so because here is a cute card set I made for a new bride to write her thank you notes.  Her outdoor wedding was filled with sunshine and beautiful colorful flowers and since "Happy Colors" is the challenge at Sunday Stamps, I thought these cards fit the theme quite nicely. You can see the challenge HERE.

Thank You Fall

I'm back again trying to get in a few more cards before my mother-in-law comes to visit for a week.  I love having her here but she is not a crafter so I will not be in my craft room very much next week.  So, here is another card I will be offering at my next card buffet.  This card is "cased" from a card I adore from Nina Marie Design.  I changed it to fit a fall theme and it fits in perfectly for a few challenges this week. First is the challenge at Tic-Tac-Toe Challenges found HERE.  I went with the right hand column of sequins-thank you-fall theme.  The second challenge is at Stampin' Royalty found HERE and the challenge is fall themed.  The third challenge is at "Just Us Girls" found HERE.  The challenge is to use sequins.  Speaking of sequins, did you notice my sequins look a bit different?  Well, I wanted to use gold sequins and the only ones I had were flat ones strung together in sequin trim.  I much prefer the look of cupped sequins, rather than flat, so I ran my sequins through an embossing folder to give them some texture.  Kind of strange, kind of fantastic!

Try Stampin' Paisley

I was very excited about this stamp set in the beginning but I have to say I have found it a bit challenging to use....so many pieces!  This is my first attempt and I'm happy with the end result because of this great sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday found HERE.  The Paisley panel was a bit labor intensive because of the coloring but the rest of the card came together quickly.  I do think next time I color the paisley I will switch to Copic Markers so I have more even coloring.

STAMPS: Paisleys and Posies, Lots of Thanks

PAPER: Very Vanilla, Pool Party Coordinations, Petals and Paisley DSP, Copper Foil Sheets

Tall and Skinny Wonderful Wings

Time flies when it's summer!  Now that school is back in session and life is back to a routine, I hope I can get back to stamping regularly.  Although I have not been stamping as much, I have been shopping and I have a desk-top full of new products to play with. I stamped this card for my sister-in-law in Florida and I used the sketch from Mojo Monday challenge found HERE.  I also used the challenge theme from Stamp, Ink, Paper this week which is "Wonderful Wings" found HERE.

This card is the "tall and skinny" size called for in the Mojo Monday challenge, 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". I thought the flamingo fit, very well, with the tall and skinny theme!

This card was made in the standard A-2 size, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
