Garden in Bloom

I have another card to get in just under the wire!  This card was made for two different challenges. The sketch challenge is from Freshly Made Sketches found HERE.  The color challenge is from ColourQ found HERE

This card is pretty straight forward and easy to figure out from the photo. I will just mention that I stamped the "inside" flower and leaf stamps before the outline stamps. The outline stamps were stamped with full ink and and the "insides" were stamped off before stamping on my panel.

STAMPS: Garden in Bloom
PAPER: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Midnight Muse
INK: Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Coastal Cabana, Midnight Muse, SU Vellum cardstock
OTHER: Rhinestones, Wink-a-Stella, Little B dies- Handwritten.
Just wanted to show one picture in which you can see the Wink-a-Stella!

In The Meadow

Just a quick post to get my card in for The Paper Players challenge ending in a few hours!  The challenge is to use a wild animal on a clean and simple (CAS) card.  You can see the challenge HERE.

The awesome faux wood panel was created using a technique found HERE.  Thank you Karen D. for sharing your wood panel technique! I initially followed Karen's technique using the Distress Inks but found that I could get good results using Stampin Up! retired linen ink pads.  I didn't try it with the current firm foam pads as I didn't think they would slide across the paper without possible damage. That did limit my ink selection but that will change next month with the new SU! catalog when I can buy their uninked felt ink spots and make my own ink pads.

If you want to make this card and live in the Geneva, Il vicinity, I will be offering this card at my next Card Buffet Class.  Let me know if you want more information.

STAMPS: In The Meadow, misc. Happy Birthday stamp
